Hi, I'm Monica. I was a high-school English teacher (in Boston, MA and Pittsford, NY) for over twenty years. Now, I fight bias and hate for a living.

I love reading, writing, storytelling, hiking, the art of fashion, live music, cooking, sharing meals with friends, traveling, and getting lost on road trips. I have a healthy affection for Josh Allen. According to Spotify, my musical listening age is 79. According to ThredUp, by thrifting clothes, I saved enough CO2 to drive a gas-powered vehicle 407 miles. (Hopefully that makes up for our Amazon deliveries.)
